Expertise:: Dr. Ma specializes in minimally invasive interventional treatment of congenital heart disease (patent ductus arteriosus, atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, pulmonary stenosis, etc.) and mitral stenosis of rheumatic heart disease. He has rich experience in diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, coronary artery disease,dilated cardiomyopathy,arrhythmia, pulmonary arterial hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases.

Biography:

Dr. Ma received a master's degree from the 1st Military Medical University in 1996. He has been working in Cardiovascular Department of Nanfang Hospital for more than 20 years. He is the academic leader of interventional treatment of congenital heart disease and valve disease for cardiovascular medicine. He was awarded the second prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress. Dr. Ma participated in more than 10 scientific research projects of various foundations, and published more than 30 papers.

Dr. Ma serves as a standing committee member of Structural Cardiology Branch of Guangdong Interventional Cardiology Society and the First Committee of Cardiac Intensive Care Physician Branch of Guangdong Medical Association. He is also a member of Structural Cardiology Group of Cardiovascular Branch of Guangdong Medical Association and the Expert Committee on Cardiology of Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association.
