- Dr. Wu has rich clinical experience in low anus-preserving operation for rectal cancer, radical operation for gastrointestinal cancer, operation for thyroid cancer and breast cancer, and diagnosis and treatment of hernia and abdominal tumor.

Dr. Wu, who has been engaged in the clinical surgery for over 30 years, has published more than 60 papers, wrote 5 monographs as chief editor, and hosted many projects of Guangdong Science and Technology Plan and Natural Science Foundation. He won the second prize both in the army's scientific and technological progress award and Guangdong's scientific and technological progress award.
Dr.Wu serves as a member of Microecology Branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, a standing committee member of the Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, and a deputy leader of the Surgical Nutrition Group. He is also a review expert of the Journal of Southern Medical University, a corresponding editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Surgery, and an editorial board member of the Chinese General Surgery Literature (electronic version).
