- Professor Wu has rich experience in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of myopia, hyperopia and amblyopia in children and adolescents, ocular diseases (keratoconjunctival diseases, eyelid diseases, etc.) and ophthalmopathy (diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ischemic lesion, etc.).
- Biography:
Professor Wu has engaged in ophthalmology, teaching and research for more than 40 years. She specializes in providing heath care service to central and provincial leaders. She presided over 15 projects of international cooperation program between China and Japan, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National 863 Key Program, Provincial Natural Science Foundation and Provincial Science and Technology Plan. Moreover, Dr. Wu has won the "China Excellent Ophthalmologist" jointly awarded by China's Ministry of Health and Japan's Senten Co., Ltd., and 3 scientific and technological progress awards of Guangdong Province and the army. She has obtained 1 patent and published 3 monographs and more than 60 papers in SCI and core journals at home and abroad as a writer or correspondent.
Professor Wu has served as the chairman, deputy chairman, standing committee and member of ophthalmology in many academic associations in China, such as Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Medical Association, Guangdong Medical Association, Provincial Medical Association, Hospital Association and Guangdong Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
